Web Series – OnirIC

Last year Café 19 collective launched OnirIC, a sci-fi web series project.
Its story takes place within a shared dream company, which proposes services in fields such as entertainment, coaching and healthcare by entering and affecting customer dreams. In the first season we are following the evolution of two new employees : Lucie and Arthur.

This season was shoot in 2019 thanks to a crowdfunding campaign. The shooting of the dozen of episodes implied 12 comedians and required 3 intense days to be completed.
Xavier de Capèle and myself are working together on scenario, direction, editing and visual effects of this season.
The season is currently in post-production.

48 Hour Film Project adventure – Émission 2557

Each year, Café 19 collective participates in the 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) competition, where teams from all around the world have 48h hours to fully produce a short film addressing constraints (imposed genre, imposed character, sentence to be used in dialogue and props to be visible on screen).
Films are then judged by juries of cinema professionals in each participating city, then at national scale in France and international scale during Filmapalooza festival.

Each participation is a wonderful experience, allowing to improve teamwork and the skills of the collective. 2020th edition will be my eighth participation to the regular competition, the third with Café 19 collective as scenarist, director and video editor.

Short film – Instants

Instants is the first short film produced by Café 19 collective in 2018.

Built on a tight budget, it implied 6 days of shooting on 7 different locations between Paris and Toulouse and about 15 days of post-production.
Benoît Roux has the leading role in the film, and we also had the chance to work with Benoît Allemane, famous comedian and dubbing actor.

The short was selected to Frames 2019 festival competition finals and to Les Regards de l’ICART 2018 festival.
